Meet Amanda
As a CPA and founder of Amanda L. Carman, CPA & Associates, LLC, I strive for exceptional customer service. I pride myself on fostering a collaborative environment where questions are welcome, and I believe that building personal relationships with clients helps create an open environment for sharing private personal and financial data.
A native of Atlanta, I graduated from North Georgia College and State University, the Military College of Georgia, in 2002 with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. My success in various accounting courses and desire to work closely with people led to a career in accounting, and I became licensed as a CPA in February 2005.

Before starting my own firm, I worked for seven years with one of the Southeast’s largest CPA firms, specializing in federal and state corporate, partnership and individual tax compliance. While with the firm, I realized that the relationships being built with clients and others throughout the business community were the most enjoyable aspect of my job. At the same time, I also recognized that the expensive, large-firm billing structure kept me from working with many of the small businesses and individuals I want to help most.
In 2009, I started my own practice and I now focus on business and individual tax preparation, consulting, and planning. As a certified QuickBooks Pro, I offer additional services to help clients maintain the integrity of their accounting data and teach them to use it effectively to make solid business decisions.
My goal is to provide exceptional customer service to my clients while maintaining the high level of community involvement that I love. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful five-year old son. Currently, I serve as the Treasurer of the Rotary Club of Vinings and am also a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
